during the announced maintenance of the line to Amsterdam, there was unfortunately an unexpected failure.

The safety mechanism to route the traffic via Frankfurt in such a case unfortunately only worked after manual intervention on our part.

The connection to Amsterdam is expected to be restored within 1-3 hours.

Dear customer,

This evening there was a major disruption to our network.

The reason for this was an attack on our BGP sessions. After we had made some adjustments and installed filters to protect ourselves from this type of attack, we are now back online.

We will continue to take protective measures to protect ourselves from this type of attack in the near future.
